We are new to Portland and tried Hi Bombay this evening for dinner. The cuisine was simply wonderful so full of delicious flavors and spices! The Nan bread with Potatoes was fabulous with our curry chicken and lamb. Excellent customer service. Our server was professional, sweet and friendly. The portions are generous and reasonably priced for Portland. We left very happy with our dinner choice and this will be one of our new go to restaurants!!

This place is amazing! Went late on a Friday night, staff was super friendly and welcoming even though dinner service was almost over. Everything came out fresh, hot, flavorful and delicious. I recommend any of their naan and the butter chicken was to die for. Overall, best Indian food I have found in this part of Maine. I'll definitely be back!!

I had Lamb Rogan Josh here. It comes with rice and I also ordered garlic naan. Omg this dish is amazing. So flavorful and tasty. Firstly, I thought I couldn't finish both rice and naan. In the end, I could eat everything. Especially the naan is so good. So fluffy. I highly recommend to order garlic naan. The wait time is short and my order got to the table with a few minutes. The only thing is this restaurant is not a wheelchair accessible as you have to go up a small stairs to get into the restaurant.

What a sweet little gem!!! The onion Bhaji was crispy and flavorful. The chicken tikka masala (I got a level 5, hubs got a level 4) was super moist and delicious. The naan was fresh buttery and warm. Absolutely blown away but this wonderful little spot. Super affordable too!!

Their food is amazing. I had the chicken tikka masala & lamb vindaloo both at level 8 spicy and it was perfect. Both dishes came with rice. We also ordered the garlic naan which was super good and perfect for dipping with the curries. The service was also friendly.

Very good and tasty food. Not very authentic South Indian but tasty fish curry and garlic naan.

Best Indian food I've had in Maine. Loved the Malai Kofta, the coconut Naan & Mango Lassi. Good prices. Will definitely eat there again.

Great food and such wonderful service! What a nice spot to eat and warm up on a cold winter day. I only got a level 5 (out of 10) spice on my saag paneer, and it was not very spicy at all. I'd get a 7 or 8 next time. But the flavors were amazing! The garlic naan was some of the best I've had.
